The wife of the President, Aisha Buhari has gone on her Twitter handle, @aishambuhari to apologise over the embarrassing video that went viral, where she was seen scolding and shouting at the Glass house, at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
The spokesman of the first lady, Suleiman Haruna, stated that first lady tender her apology during a solidarity visit done by the first ladies of the various 36 states to the Presidential Villa Abuja, in which the first lady was their host.
The video which went viral was recorded by Fatima Mamman Daura, the President’s niece, as she alleged that the first lady attacked her and her sister at the glass house.
When the first lady was approached, upon her arrival in Nigeria, she was asked to confirm authenticity of the video, if she truly was the one in it, she stated that video was an old one though, but described it as one in which she lost her temper, because she was denied entrance to some parts of the Villa by the Daura’s family members.
During the visit of the wives of the governors, Aisha commented on the video which had circulated the social media platforms, she used the medium to apologised to her children, immediate family members and Nigerians over the embarrassment that the online videos might have caused.
