A Twitter user identified as @ChidiOdinkalu shared a post with a picture of a 47 year old Cameroonian shoe seller who was wrapped in a Cling film as he was deported by the Turkish authorities, and is calling for the #BoycottTurkishAirline movement.
@ChidiOdinkalu who shared the post has frowned at the the inhumane way in which the deportee was treated, as he condemns the Turkish authorities for such inhumane act and has moved a motion of #BoycottTurkishAirline as he also frowned at Turkish Airline in which the deportee was boarded.
After a video of a Cameroonian man carried onto a Turkish Airlines plane wrapped in Cling film to be deported, surfaced online, many have backlashed the bother Turkish authorities and their Airline, as they call for the boycott of the airline.
In the video Emmanuel Fosso Someon Chedjou, a 47-year-old shoe seller from Cameroon’s commercial capital Douala, was seen screaming for help as fellow passengers struggled to take off the layers of plastic wrapping and the plastic straps restraining his wrists and ankles.
As he screamed
“They want to kill me,” he is heard saying in the video in a state of panic. “They carried me like a package to put me on the plane … I was barely breathing,” he told The Telegraph later in a phone interview.
These has cause an outrage on social media as Hundreds of thousands of people have watched the video and has thus gone on social media to express their disappointment and anger calling the Turkish authorities ‘Humans without Humanity’ and many are moving for a campaign #BoycottTurkishAirline.
