IPAC, Adamawa chapter accuses INEC of recruiting APC members as ad-hoc Staff for the 2019 election

In view of the forthcoming general elections, the Inter-Party Advisory Council (IPAC), Adamawa State chapter has accused the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC of scheming with the All Progressives Congress, APC, to recruit ad-hoc staff for the General election In the state. 

IPAC Chairman for Adamawa State chapter, Barrister Tahir Shehu, raised an alarm in the capital,Yola, that the Electoral ump is making plans to rig the poll in favor of the ruling party, he also added that  political office holders in the APC government are submitting lists of ad-hoc staff, who will be partakers in conducting the 2019 general elections, in February.

Mr. Tahir also called the attention of the President, Muhammad Buhari, the chairman of INEC, to call to order the Adamawa State Resident Electoral Commissioner, adding that he should not be allowed to dip the state into topsy-turvydom. And INEC should do everything humanly possible to provide a level playing ground for all.

Reacting to the allegations, Ahmed Lawan, Organising Secretary of Adamawa APC, dismissed the allegations, saying the PDP is jittery of losing the 2019 elections and is concealing itself under the umbrella of the IPAC, to raise false alarm.
