With allegations suggesting that most crowds at campaign rallies are hired or bought, the Minister of Culture and Information, Lai Mohammed, has described the crowds that throng the All Progressives Congress, APC, presidential rallies as genuine Nigerians.
He also added that, the crowds are an evidence of those who have respect for President Muhammadu Buhari and admire his integrity for the country.
He made this known in Ilorin, the State capital, on Monday while reacting to the report of mercenaries infiltrating the APC campaign in Kano State.
Mohammed, who jokingly referred to the alleged foreigners as aliens from Mars and Jupiter, said the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, is disturbed with the massive turnout at every APC gathering.
He also boasted of the readiness of the APC to take over power from the Senate President, Bukola Saraki and the ruling government in the state come March 2019.
In addition to all said the Kwara State Chairman of the APC, Bashir Bolarinwa, appealed to members to get their Permanent Voters Card as the election is close.
