Professor Nelson Braimbraifa has been appointed as the new acting Managing Director for the Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC, his appointment was approved by President Muhammad Buhari.
This was announced by the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Mr Femi Adesina, on Friday, in Abuja.
In addition to this, Mr. Femi Adesina said, the President has equally vested the supervisory role of the commission in the Honourable Minister of Niger Delta Affairs, as well as approved the dissolution of the extant board of NDDC, following the Federal Executive Council (FEC) resolution.
Other appointments made by the President are, Mr Chris Amadi and Mr Samuel Adjogbe as acting Executive Directors in charge of Finance and Administration, as well as Projects respectively.
These appointments takes effect immediately, as stated by the Presidential Aide.
