The 2019 elections is around the corner and questions are been raised on how credible the elections will be following the fact that the Electoral act amendment bill hasn’t been signed, due to the President’s refusal to assent to it.
The people’s democratic party (PDP) Presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar has risen to challenge President Muhammadu Buhari to guarantee a free and fair election come February, 2019.
In his statement, Atiku also pointed out that the refusal of the APC to do enough campaigns ahead of the general elections is a plot to rig the polls.
The former vice president, who was speaking at a campaign rally in Ado-ekiti, Ekiti state capital, promised to fix all federal roads in the state if elected president.
Other chieftains of the party also expressed confidence in the ability of the PDP to win the forthcoming general elections.
The Atiku Abubakar campaign train moved to Akure, Ondo state capital to continue its campaign tour.
