Despite the proposed protest of some agitated Nigeria in Japan, President Muhammadu Buhari has arrived Toyko, the capital city of Japan for at the 7th International Conference on African Development, TICAD7.
The President in company of the Governor of Benue State, Samuel Ortom, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Geoffrey Onyeama and Nigerian Ambassador to Japan, Amb. Mohammed Gana Yisa, all arrived Japan ahead of the Conference.
The conference themed ‘Africa and Yokohama, Sharing Passion for the Future’, will take place in the city of Yokohama from August 28 till August 30, 2019.
Mr. President and his team were warmly welcomed in Tokyo, by some group of Japanese dressed in African attire and holding a banner, captioned ‘Welcome his Excellence Muhammadu Buhari, President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria ‘
