With the alleged killings of unarmed civilians in Rivers state by men of the Federal Special Anti-robbery Squad, FSARS, the House of Representatives has mandated the Committee set up, for Army, Police Affairs, Human Rights, and Justice to investigate alleged killings.

On the resurgence of attacks in communities in Zamfara, Kaduna, Benue, and other states, the house requested that President Buhari address the nation on the inability of the armed forces to stop the carnage.
